It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our brother and colleague,
Mr. Abdirashid Mohamed Ibrahim, who passed away in Addis Ababa on the 3rd of November,
2012. Mr. Ibrahim was IGAD's Mediation Unit Coordinator.
The Executive Secretary of IGAD and the entire IGAD Staff send their deepest condolences
to the family and friends of Mr. Abdirashid and pray that the Almighty God rest
his soul in eternal peace and give his family strength during this difficult time.
